Thesis Statement

If human nature is to move to cities to battle mental illness, then everyone who lives in a city is mentally ill, and we are all patients. Those who are too sick to live in a city go to a retreat with the hopes that nature will cure them. As the world becomes more urbanized, this alternative is no longer an option. Exposure to the city while maintaining anonymity and security becomes the ultimate goal. The urban asylum must use the city to cure its patients with a structural green lens serving as the segway between madness and rehabilitation.
